To all lobster lovers – the 62nd Maine Lobster Festival, an epic lobster-themed parade, has opened Wednesday in Rockland. According Rockland News Center Running through the Sunday the Festival Maine Sea Goddess will be crowned Wednesday night, and the evening music shows begin Thursday. The eating goes on every day!

King Neptune arrives Wednesday at Noon. Other highlights of the festival include the coronation of the Maine Sea Goddess (8pm Wednesday, July29), the Lobster Crate Races (2pm Sunday, August 2), and the Lobster Festival Parade (10am Saturday, August 1).
